Journey made easy

It's been a wonderful 4 months and 3500 miles drive from Houston to Little Rock. Had an incident of battery run down caused by the Android auto that didn't disconnect from phone. This needs to be fixed and occasional non functioning of reverse camera.

Does not have automatic garage door opener.

This vehicle has many modern features but does not have a garage door opener like all other new cars. This seems very odd given it is a 2026 model.

2026 Hyundai Tucson review

my 2026 Hyundai Tucson is underpowered. The remote control needs more range. The little "beep" when you lock or unlock the car is so low you have to stand close and really concentrate to hear it. The on/off light indicators on the dashboard ( like for the air conditioner ) are nearly invisible in the daytime which makes it really hard to tell whether or not something is actually turned on. The "child locks" on the back doors are too complicated when turning them off. Most of the "pictures" on the controls tell you almost nothing, you have to read the manual to even find out how to set your cruise control. The windshield wiper control arm is almost beyond comprehension. I've had it about 4 months and it's already been subject to 2 recalls. Maybe it was rolled out before it was actually road ready.

Driving a very tech filled auto is fun.

I had a 2024 Tucson before and upon lease end did not hesitate to lease another. Only negative is that it is loaded either way more technology than I can master. I am over 83 years young.
