I purchased my 2002 Honda CRV new from the dealer. This is the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. It has over 104K on the odometer and drives like it is new. Handles more like a sedan than a truck. Good in snow which is one of the reasons I purchased it. I will probably own it forever.

I love everything about it. This is my favorite car, if you can't tell from the ratings. I love sitting up higher as I drive. I love how it handles in snow. I love the vertical brake lights on my older model. I can play DVD's and cassettes so I can play all my music. This has been a great car for me. I will always have a Honda CR-V.

I love my CRV. It is the perfect size for all my needs.It is fun to drive. I am glad I got the 5 speed manual transmission. It has good visibility and plenty of storage areas. I have hauled hay, livestock, feed, furniture, etc. Lots of room.

You can't pull a travel trailer with it, but for buzzing around local and traveling to the coast, I love it. And I can still haul a trailer with my riding lawnmower and tools on it. I guess it could haul a small popup campe.r

Good vehicle with some drawbacks.
Drives well, gets good gas mileage. Visibility is good and everything works well after 14 years. Owners manual is very comprehensive and helpful. Has some unusual features, such as an integrated picnic table that can be removed and used at a camp site.
The speedometer is really hard to use as the numbers are close together and go to 150 MPH. Also at night most of the controls are not illuminated. Even with the front seats all the way back my knees occasionally bang against the Lower portion of the instrument panel, aka dashboard. I am 5' 11" and cannot figure out how someone over 6' tall could be comfortable driving this SUV.

Owning a more dependable maintenance free car is unlikely
Rarely do any other maintenance except insure oil is topped off and changed as appropriate. Full fluid in the radiator a must also. I wait until my brakes grind and then have brake work done. 150,000+ miles. Bought brand new. its been paid off for almost 10 years
