It's a practical

The car is ok. There are annoying moments when you have to stop at a light or stop sign and the car shuts off but you have to wait for it to completely shut off or it starts to stutter and the check engine light comes on. Then you have to put the car in park, then turn the car off and then turn it back on.

auto insurance is expensive do to the theft of the Sonata.

The customer service at the Dearborn MI branch is not very costomer friendly.

I’m a U.S. Veteran and my 2023 Sonata left me stranded with no help.

My 2023 Sonata was smoking badly out the exhaust, and I couldn’t see to drive and the car died on the road. I was stranded and had no connection for help. I was able to get to the dealership , where they had to replace 4 fuel injectors , and later the catalytic converter for the same smoking and engine problem. I’m still very upset with the performance of this vehicle, and would rather have Hyundai replace it with another new vehicle. The car is only 19 months old, and I’m not well enough to be dealing with a problem car, that places my life in jeopardy by stranding me on isolated roads , with no help. I need Hyundai to step up to the plate , and help out an old Veteran in dire need. Thank You

Love my car, one complaint.

The front end is too low and scrapes on the driveway even after having the driveway paved and it Scrapes coming out of alot of places. Otherwise I absolutely Love this car. Great attention to detail in design, comfortable. Great ride.

Good car

I like my Hyundai Sonata, it has lots of bells and whistles, like my heated and cooled seats and heated steering wheel which is great on those cold mornings! The only complaint I have is that it’s gutless, especially when the a/c is running! It feels like it doesn’t want to go when stopping and going again! Other than that it’s a pretty good car!

Lemon

In general, we lease to have a safe and reliable vehicle. We’ve leased Sonatas before with no issue. With this car, we’ve had 4 failed fuel injectors and the Cadillac converter had to be replaced. These were just the bigger issues and doesn’t include the other issues that came up because of the aforementioned items. There were several months that we weren’t able to use this vehicle due to the repairs. Additionally, when the fuel injectors failed, it was at anytime and anyplace. One such incident occurred while I was driving on the highway with my two girls in the backseat. The car went from 70 mph down to 25mph unexpectedly. Needless to say, has not been reliable or safe for the much of the time that we’ve had this vehicle.
