Overall solid compact SUV, with only a few hiccups

As the title states, the 2024 Hyundai Tucson is a solid compact SUV. With an excellent ride on the highway or a gravel road, the Tucson has been a pleasure to drive. However, my 2024 Tucson has had a few hiccups that have resulted in lost time at work and weeks without the vehicle I am paying to own. The largest issue has been having to have the battery replaced several times and the local dealerships not being willing or able to find the root cause of it, unless I paid above and beyond what a warranty may cover. By itself, that may deter someone from buying a Tucson, but generally speaking, the service I have received has been top notch, and at least one local dealership has been fantastic to work with any time I have had questions, needed service, or had an issue that needed to be addressed.

Not What It Should Be

Difficult to navigate any of the features. I’ve looked through all the manuals that came with the vehicle and can never find any answers. I never should have traded my perfect 2010 Santa Fe. My Santa Fe was much easier to drive and to handle on the road.

The only problem I have with the Tucson is the engine turning off when it comes to a stop. It seems as if there will be starter issues sooner or later. Othe than that it’s a great vehicle

great little car

Very pleased with my Tucson. Easy to handle, good gas mileage, maintenance is easy and not overly expensive. Visability is good. I prefer a car without a lot of bells & whistles, who needs more things to break, and the Tucson fits that perfectly. This is my third Tucson, I really like the added safety features, alerts when you are changing lanes for blind spots, alerts when you drift out of your lane. Does well in inclement weather. My only issue is the radio/media center, it is unreliable, bounces between media being connected then dropped and Waze is just a hot mess for navigating, connects, doesn't connect, the audio part works but the map freezes.

Decent for your purchase

The vehicle runs decent but it has a strange tapping noise from the motor. This is a new car and it always had this noise. I use synthetic oils only and change frequently. The Major floor was because I dry a lot withinin the first 6 months of the car the transmitton failed with the car reach 105K. I have purchase several cars and never received these issues. In addition, there is a major defect in the radio especially when use apple play or any devices. Lastly when purchase the car new the tires failed with the first 3 months ad the manufacture would not warranty the own tires.

Good Vehicle

The air conditioned seats were a top selling point and have been wonderful in the Arizona heat. A major selling point was it does not have a CVT and it has the best warranty. Issues with the weather stripping from the beginning of vehicle's life causes excessive wind noise. The emissions make it lug the engine so you have to drive it in sport mode to get good performance, which decreases gas mileage. This model has touch screen only which makes it difficult while driving.

Very happy overall with this vehicle!! Only problem is that the wipers cannot be pulled away from the windshield when snow is expected. This is a pretty significant problem to me.

This is a good solid sub that I would lease again

My only real complaint is that it has no pick up. Such as coming off of a ramp and getting into speeding traffic. Very slow.

This is my second Tuson, Service at times, can be aggravating.

I think you should be, treating your customers a lot better, for example, I have road hazard , warranty, on my vehicle, and when a nail damaged, my tire I had to wait, two hours in the service department , because my advisor , was arguing with the warranty company, to approve the repair.
