Not the best

Mood lighting stopped working after a year and transmission doesn’t shift when driving. RPMs will go way up but my car won’t go faster

2025 Tucson Sel Awd

This a 2025 Tucson that I’m leasing since 02/2025 and has been at the service dept three times for problems, which it is currently being serviced again for problems. From what I had read and people I’ve talked with the Tucson has many problems and has been made cheaper than the older Tucson. This car is a piece of garbage in my opinion. I also have a friend that has the same year and model and she has had problems too. So glad I’m leasing and didn’t buy. Very disappointed with this car.

2025 SEL Tuscon

Overall the vehicle feels pretty sturdy and responsive, it also has quite a few comfort features that are nice for the price. I do enjoy the vehicle as a daily driver and for long trips its pretty nice overall. However, my specific vehicle has had a transmission replaced before the 10k mile marker and it has had a few other issues with the entertainment system syncing with android and apple. Ive had to shutdown the vehicle to reset the onboard computer for it to register devices. The system isnt laggy except for when it encounters any form of interference and it never recovers. The wipers feel sluggish as well are are terrible at highway speeds. My vehicle also has damage from shipping straps on the hood when I picked it up and I had to return to the dealer to have it buffed out. Overall the vehicle has been more of an inconvenience than my last hyundai and I dont see myself getting another tuscon

Tech is fine but explanation and organization is not

Mastering the infotainment system and all the operational adjustments you can make is mostly by trial and error. The Owners Manual talks more about the dangers of using each feature and very sketchy on how to actually set them up.

Good Car; Poor Dealership

While I like the car, it has ongoing electrical issues due to poor storage before I purchased the vehicle. I cannot get this resolved. It alo may have a transmission issue that will it require it to be left. The dealership is unable or unwilling to provide a loaner so I am forced to try to find a date where I can afford to be without a car for an unknown period of time.
