New-to-me car rating

I've had a 1990 Camry DX for 21 yrs., and the day it turned 333,000 miles, I traded up to my present 2005 Camry SE, which I heartily delight in. I wanted, in my newer car, to have a sun-roof, which it does; and also, if possible, a cassette tape player as well as a CD player, which it does.So far, I'm very delighted and satisfied with it.

Brake replacement at 108,000 miles

Great, reliable car

I bought my car new 12 years ago. It is the base, 4 cylinder model. Nothing fancy about her but she has been an extremely reliable car. Other than routine maintenance, I have not had to do anything to her and I just hit 100,000 miles. I get oil changes religiously every 5k miles and have always used full synthetic oil. I have had to replace the battery a couple of times, brakes one time, tires.... but that is it. I always get the scheduled maintenance service advised by Toyota but use an independent shop for all my auto needs. I would recommend this car to someone who wants something reliable, inexpensive to buy and maintain, and who will have their car a long time. Not the car for you if you want fast or flashy.

Efficiency

Low gas consumption, comfortable seats, head room, handling. after 142,000 miles all parts work well, engine is clean and the interior and exterior look great. By far the best vehicle I had in the past 20 years.

I trust Toyota to do the right mechanical procedure for my car.

The procedure went very well and only had to wait an hour for my oil change and tire rotation. I had a nice cup of coffee while waiting. Tried to get an answer for wheels on my Tacoma but they told I should go someplace else. I guess my choice in wheels wasn't expensive enough for him.

2005 Camry

This car meets every need. I bought it new but then when my husband died two years ago, I wondered if I could continue to manage a ten-year-old car. I take it in for oil and just it checked over. It's in perfect shape except it's time for brakes, which I expected. I'm 78 and out day and night driving an 11-year-old car and I feel totally safe. Before this, I had another Toyota Camry exactly like this one and drove it 223,000 miles before I sold it. I'll buy another Toyota when this gets another 50,000 miles on it. That's as good a recommendation as anyone could give.

A very dependable car!

I love my car. The way it drives, the speed is just right. The seats are comfortable even in the back. It has good trunk space. It's a good car to own if you have children or not. I am an artisan and need to fit quite a lot in my car and it holds it all very well. I love my car! ?

I love my Camry

I bought my Camry new and eleven years later I wouldn't trade it for anything. It has been the best car I have ever owned and with just 70,000 miles on her I will be driving forever. Other then general maintenance I have never had a problem. It has been serviced regularly from day one, it looks great and I always know I am safe in it. This is a real keeper.
