Elantra

So I had an oil change multiple times but there was this one time when I had the oil change a hyundai dealership mechanic shop. Somehow someone that worked on my vehicle didnt screw the oil pan bolt all the way where when I drove it on the highway the bolt feel off and oil spilled out everywhere which I had to get it towed to the shop which is an inconvenience. And their excuses was that it was a faulty bolt when the bolt should not be faulty. From one of the service member told me. So ever since than my car been driving weird and now a oil light will come on when I step on the acceleration pedal.

Not recommended for snowy areas

Love the features my car provides. Gets me where I need to go. Unfortunately had to replace battery only 2 years in but was thankfully still covered by warranty. However this car is TERRIBLE in snowy environments and can be slippery and dangerous. Hoping to switch to snow tires this winter and see if that improves anything.

Arts Elantra

Overall not a bad vehicle. Biggest defect and inconvenience is that you are not able to swing windshield wipers up and open for replacement, ice and snow or anything. When you attempt they hit and chip paint on hood. Horrible design!!

I have a 2024 Hyandai Elantra. It has been a wonderful car. It drives well on the highway and around town. It gets great gas mileage - 42 mph.

2024 Elantra Review

I originally had a 2018 Elantra. The changes from 2018 to 2024 have been great and I really like the improvements. The different textures throughout the vehicle are nice. The trunk space is deep and fits a lot of cargo. Plenty of leg room throughout all seats. The inside has a lot of solid hard plastics and it feels high quality not cheap plastic. Though the spacing between some of the plastics tends to build up dirt. Specifically between the gear shift and the side plastics. The front of the vehicle is much sleeker than previous models and I really like the look. The light housings on the front tend to get some water damage on the seals.

I Love This Car!

This is my second Elantra, and it is even better than the first. It is larger, gets better gas mileage, and is has many more safety features. It is very fun to drive and I feel safe driving it.

Hello Ralph, You can find additional information on the safety features that are triggering the alarms in chapter 7 of the owners manual. Here it describes the features, how to change settings and other information about the features.  If additional information is needed there are Youtube videos available as well. ^cc
