IT's stylish and fun to drive

many great features but the info panel and dash need improvement. The blower motor comes on whenever it feels like it. Unlock the car first thing the blower is on high even though I hadn't used it the night before. Twice the battery was stone dead o use road service. I think it is very disturbing that I have to carry a portable jumper 24/7. It had to be jump started to get it out of the showroom. I had leased a 2017 Sante Fe which I should have kept. I've had the Sonata back to the dealer they say they're aware of the problem but not aware of the cause, Several recalls in 5 months.If I could afford the financial loss , I'd give it back !!!

My favorite car I’ve owned

I got this car 3 months ago and have a little over 2,000 miles on it so far. It’s been such a joy to drive that I find myself trying to find reasons to drive it.

Hundai Sonata review

Excellent car great gas mileage, extremely comfortable for long trips. Interior details are well done. Exterior is sharp looks very sporty going down the road. I recommend the Sonata excellent warranty and customer service overall a great investment.

a very solid vehicle for the money

vehicle has been very reliable and dependable. vehicle is not well designed for a short person, very inadequate ability to get a good seat fit. do not like steering wheel, they added two "bumps" on the wheel that are annoying. well priced good-looking vehicle. second sonata owned, still prefer the 2009

A satisfatory experience overall.

Nice car. Modern styling. Very good workmanship overall. I suspect the instrument lighting problem is the result of poor quality control. Evidently others have had similar problem.

Disappointed

I purchased the car in May 2024 and the driver assistance alerts started giving alerts July 8, 2024 and has continued since then. I've had it back at the dealership 7 times including once because the horn randomly stopped working. I previously owned a Sonata and had no issues. I'm not sure if the problem is only to my vehicle but corporate hasn't been willing to help me replace it. I drive it to work and that's it in fear of it breaking down on me if I drive it out of town

Disgusting! Although the Sonata is a beautiful car, I am always driving it fearfully as I have waited for over one year to receive the 2nd (SECOND) key fob; WHICH I WAS PROMISED @ PURCHASE!!! What is a disabled senior to do if her one and only key is misplaced or lost???

Looks great.

I Would never buy another with the gear shift handle on the steering column. A gear shift in the console is far more attractive and makes for a more satisfying experience, It also makes me brake to go from N to D which is a problem at the end of a car wash. Also a touch screen for heat controls etc. require eyes to leave the road longer than mechanical switches. I bought it based on my 2016 Sonata. I won't buy another based on this one. I also won't keep it too long.
