Nicer car than expected

I love my 2014 Elantra even after two years now. It's a great card for the price, and I still love looking it it - the styling is simply the nicest of all the cars i was looking at in the same price range and size. Over 33k miles now and doing just fine. And the economy has been surprising; I routinely get over 40MPG on the highway.

In the twenty thousand dollar price range this vehicle gives good standard equipment except for lighting interior and exterior. The 10 year 100,000 warranty was no additional charge. You might say Hyundai puts their money where their mouth is.

Keep the Elantra Eco in production!

The Elantra Eco is a very impressive car. Great gas mileage, easy to drive, and fun! Lots of Tech! Once I saw this car, and saw the MPG, styling. i was hooked, I had to have it! After traveling to Louisville, KY, I drove one for the first time. Fell in love with it, and had to have it. The dealership up there, just couldn't work a deal out, and get the price I wanted! A few months later, a different dealership, I got the car I wanted! So far, super happy, its paying for itself, with the gas I'm saving!

I would not buy this model again the way it is

I was deciding between my Elantra and a couple of non-Hyundai brands, but went for this because of the warranty. However, knowing what I now know, I would not purchase another Elantra in the future. First, there are way too many on the road and yes, that does bother me quite a bit. Second, and more importantly, I am not thrilled with the lack of performance of the vehicle. It makes too many interior noises and I hear the road inside the cabin whereas all of my previous cars didn't do (and I have owned quite a few different vehicles over the years).
