I love my car

The Elantra is a great car if no one gets in the back seat. No a/c or heat vents no speakers back there. I have to defrost my windows in 90 degree weather. But otherwise great gas mileage.

Nice car where it counts

I have been driving a 2024 Elantra SEL for several years. Strong areas are the 2.0 engine and IVT transmission combination. On a good day can get over 50 mpg. There is plenty of power for my needs. When I need to accelerate the response is immediate. The engine is MPI meaning less long term maintenance concerns. Second feature is remote start. My car is kept outside 24/7 and makes preparing for work easier in cooler weather. Safety features like warning when someone is behind my when backing up or to my side when signaling to change lanes are two of my favorite features. Back up camera is a must have for parking close to other vehicles. The things I do not care for. Exterior styling. I prefer the smooth lines of the 2017 Elantra SE I traded in. Turning radius it too wide. I have to swing wide to attempt to park in a space. My 2017 Elantra SE was much easy to park. Front facing camera tends to fog up in cooler weather, shutting down the safety features that depend on the camera. Overall, this is an excellent car. My main concerns is getting from point A to B in reliable manner. It has done that for two years daily.

Amazing car, with minimal concerns

It has amazing features and runs fantastic, but it can be a bit of a hassle to repair due to expensive electronic parts. Taller people may have a hard time feeling comfortable in this car. Overall it is a life long car, but may not be a fit for everyone.

Love My Elantra

My seventh Elantra since 2005 is reliable, efficient, has spiffy wheel rims and sunroof and is a treat to drive. I appreciate the build-in GPS and back-up camera and system warning features. I call this car Sterling due to its silver color, much prettier than plain dark gray.

Mrs. Ferrell

The car sits low on the ground and you feel every single bump. I bought brand new and before 2 years was up I had to buy new tires and wipers. It is very cheaply made. This will be the last Hyundai I ever buy.

Not the safest vehicle

Purchased new in 2024. 3 months after purchase, someone rear-ended me at 50 miles per hour. Airbag did not deploy nor did the Bluelink system alert that the vehicle was involved in an accident. Showed it was still driving for months after the accident. Vehicle has safety concerns. Still dealing with injuries and upcoming surgery from vehicle accident.

I love the gas mileage, but since day one my display literally blacks

My display blacks out since day one. The dealer can’t find out the problem. My warning light come on for no reason all of them. My steering wheel vibrates when the air is in.
