Recalls

There are too many recalls on my 2011 Sonata. It makes me feel somewhat unsafe. Although my car is economical and roomy, the recalls are very inconvenient.

I think I was sold a lemon that was put back together very bad

Navigation system never work since I had the car. Air bag problems. Bumper cracking from cheap paint job on it.

Loved the car immediately

Not thrilled about the amount of recalls I have had to return for. Last April I actually paid for one of the things my car is now being recalled for. I had to call corporate and start a claim to refund my money. Disappointed with that. Not sure I would buy another Hyundai. The dealership and people who work there are second to none.

Nice look, lots of recalls

I do like my Sonata. It's a nice looking vehicle, roomy, and I've always enjoyed it. However, the amount of recalls for this year model is ridiculous. Those of us in the rust belt should pay attention. I spent over $300 to replace ONE BUSHING due to rust and such. Now it sounds like I have another one. Time to trade her in!!!!

Nice Ride, mostly

With the exception of all the recalls, and the fact the sun roof leaks (which I was told isn't under warranty), this has been a good car. Need to purchase high end tires to cut down on the interior noise.

Sonata 2011

Steering wheel inset peeled, replaced with same thing and has peeled again. Tire rims coating peeled. I had to have refurbished at my expense. After repair of rubber ring on steering collar at my expense, then recall was sent. Numerous recalls. I enjoy the drive and ride. Poor materials resulted in additional expense to owners. Hyundai can and should do better for the consumer.

My 2011 Sonata have a too many recalls and some problems. I like my Sonata 2011 but I am not sure to purchase the Sonata again because I have to buy any vehicle any time soon.
