Very happy customer

The car is performing terrific. Averaging about 35 mpg around the Island and 40 on the open road. The ride is comfortable, the interior is roomy. My main complaint is the length of the latch that the seat belt locks into; its too short. Should be extended about two inches. Other than that, its a great car.

Recalls

It seems to me that there are a lot of recalls on this year of the Sonata. Plus, I have to go to a Hyundai dealer which is 30 to 40 minutes away. So, while it is getting serviced, I either have to sit and wait, or have someone follow me. That way I have a vehicle to go some where in town while I wait.

It's been a good car

I drive a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. It's been a good car but has had quite a few recalls. It's good that they get fixed but a pain as well. I would recommend a new Hyundai due to the warranty that comes with it and they seem to be much more dependable. When the time comes to upgrade I will consider a new Sonata.

My car reincarnated!

I bought my Sonata in 2011 and have loved it - it has been a good car - up to the point that the engine died on me two weeks ago without any warning. Based on the consumer research we did, I was not alone with this experience; apparently, this has been a long running issue with Hyundai models. But Hyundai stepped up and covered the engine replacement cost as well as the rental needed during the repair process. I appreciate that although I'm sure they are handling this on a case by case basis to avoid the cost of doing a total recall. In any case, they did right by me and I thank them for that.

My 2011 Sonta

I bought my car (2011) new in 2010. Before that l owned a 2007 Sonta which l loved. One day while on the highway a car passed me that caught my eye!. Later l found out it was the newest Sonta at that time. From that day l was hooked and decided that was the car l wanted. My car currently has around 120,000 miles and still runs great. I make sure maintenance is done as needed. Whenever l decide to purchase a new car it will be another Hyundai.

Love it!

I love my Hyundai sonata Limited edition! It has all the bells and whistles and everyone that rides in it always has a complement me on my Sonata. With the back seats that heat up to the navigation it makes for a very nice ride. This was a very good investment for me and my family.

I have LOVED my Hyundai sonata since the moment I bought it. I love the style, the smooth driving, everything. I have a newborn baby as well and it's so easy to put him in and out of the car especially with how much space there is.

Has done well for 6 years

The auto has done well with very few issues over the years. I am not pleased that the vehicle did not match the fuel projections, but at least the corporation came up with the fuel pay-back plan until the suit is completed. The car does well and has stayed maintenance free for a long time: brakes are strong, the a/c has not had an issue to this point, and the dealer maintains the vehicle in a reasonably inexpensive way. I will look at the drive belt which was recommended, but I must state that the car runs strong, the body seems and looks sound and the overall auto has been good to me since I purchased it new in December, 2011. I do like the extra room the vehicle offers compared to my prior 2006 Prius. I have no serious complaints whatsoever and am at the 4 star rating because I think there are some body trim options which need refinement if I am to purchase it again and the other issue I have the company should address is a height adjustment of the passenger seat. The leather interior has worn well and I currently have no headliner issues which I have seen in a car which has some age. So far, so good.

I love my 2011 Sonata

This 2011 Sonata has had fewer problems than any car I have owned before. It has only had one repair in 100000 miles except for wear items like tires and brakes. It gets good to superior mileage and gives a roomy and comfortable ride.
