Still a great car after 6 years

I am still enjoying this car after 6 years. So much so, that when I do get a new car I won't trade this Sonata in on my new one . It will become our 2nd car or backup car

Vanilla to drive, but man that gas mileage!

I bought this car for commuting after our 2001 Impala decided to drop the steering rack in the middle of winter. I really didn't think much of it until I realized that I only had to fill up twice a month anymore! On average, I am getting 33 combined, with long trips being right around 37-39! (One trip with a stiff back wind got me 41!) So don't get me wrong, I love the car, but it definitely isn't going to win me over in the 'fun' category. The gear box is decent, but feels like it lags after a quick burst of acceleration. The paddle shift ends up just driving me crazy, as when I grab the wheel with my leg in a turn, it will hit a paddle and downshift! If I haven't shifted it into "Manual" mode, why should the paddle do anything?! Why does it need paddle shift to begin with?

We have owned two of these vehicles and in our opinion they get the best gas mileage of any car we have ever owned in the last 20 plus years. Dealership has quality sales and service teams.

What a car!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our Sonata for five and half years! It is the second one we have bought new. The first one was totaled when a BMW rear-ended us on the Ship Canal Bridge in Seattle and shoved us under a tow truck. This was right before Christmas and we did not have time to look for a new car, as I had to go to San Francisco to conduct services for the Estonian Lutheran Church. We asked our younger son to get us another Sonata. When we returned home he had done so - and we have have driven our delightful Sonata Limited ever since. A minor problem with the starter is the only trouble we have had with this car and none with the former one and this problem was taken care of most quickly, reasonably and pleasantly. .We are "Hyundai people" and are grateful to our younger son for "bringing us into the fold" in the first place after the good experience he had had with his Elantra.

2011 Sonata 2.0 T

We are very happy with the way our Hyundai drives and are pleased with the performance. The engine has a lot of power and still gets 34 miles to the gallon on the highway. Around town we can expect 21 or 22 miles per gallon. The interior is roomy and comfortable and the heated seats are nice in the winter.

Hybrid That Work

The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is a great vehicle. The mileage is vey good and the comfort is exceptional. It rates with the Mercedes in my opinion (I have ridden in one so i am not just making this up). The sound system is superb. i would purchase another Hyundai based on this car.

Hyundai Sonata

I LUV my Sonta's. We have had 5 total and there are three in the drive way right now. A 2011 with 108,000, a 2011 with 36000 and my 2015 with 30000 miles on them respectively. Both of the previous years were a 2002 with 102,000 miles that we traded in for a 2005 that we sold after It reached 105,000. Dependable, reliable and kinda cute! We are a Sonata Family for life.

Best CAR Ever!!

I never thought about owning this car. But once I drive it. I fell in love. I plan on keeping this car for the long haul. No major issues, just have to keep up the maintenance and make tires are changed when need be. If you don't consider this care you are missing out on a great car.

Hybrid-High Value

Vehicle performs well and mileage is greatly improved--especially driving on Highway at 59mph, no hurry! in right lane. Comfort is top notch and it gets 'looks' and 'compliments' from onlookers. However, I don't see too many on the roads. And no advertising on TV or elsewhere, that I can see. How come? It is a good car overall and has performed well so far: 76000 miles!

Very good car

We purchased our sonota two years ago used and I must say it was hard to tell it was a used car it did need a little outside cleaning but aside from that the car runs like new we put around 20000 miles on her since we got it and it only has gone into service once for an A/C problem and to other times for minor recall stuff car has never broken down she rides great handles well we put a set of Michelin premiere tires on her and she now has an unbelievable ride handles even better wet or dry I would highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a good car ours is the limited edition that makes it better than a regular one for comfort and a few extras like a great sound system and leather seats my wife and I love this car for sure I have owned about 60 cars in my life and this one is one of the nicest ones ever.

Lova my Sonata. Rides well for one with a bad back

Would buy another Sonata. The only problem is not seeing traffic welllookingto my right. The post for the doors often blocks my view. Its like a dead spot.
