Oil Consumption Sucks
Overall I did like the 2018 sonata, It a good looking car and handles good for its class. I am displeased that with my engine consuming as much oil that it does that Hyundai will not replace, or at least fix the engine. Noticed an above usual oil consumption around 28,000 miles, it had consumed 3 Quarts of oil in under 3 months time. Did multiple consumption tests at the dealership. They wanted to replace the engine and Corporate Hyundai has told them no, even though there is a Class action law suit going on for the engine issues. I feel the only way for them to fix it is going to be at my cost, engine seizure leading to me being stranded, or in worse case dead in an accident while operating the car.
