Not that great

The automatic start through the app does not work, I have call customer service and took vehicle to dealership but no one can fix it. I would really appreciate if someone would contact me and get this feature fixed since I paid for it.

Good car, just missing some touches on the lower trims

It’s overall a good car. The lack of a leather steering wheel on lower trims brings the car down some as well as no rear vents.

Not worth the money

Engine was very noisy from the start. Took it in several times and was told there was nothing wrong with it. Checked other cars the same year and they were much quieter.

This has been a good car. The biggest problem has been the control panel on the driver's side window controls has failed now twice with less than 22,000 miles.

Issue with the climate control start eight months after I bought it

Eight months after I purchased this car new Hyundai had a required software update. It worked perfectly prior to that update after that update. It stopped working. I probably called 30 times on this issue in the last year. It’s coming up on a year now since the issue has occurred. I keep being told someone will be calling me back I never hear back from anybody very disappointing and yet it’s still not working. Took it to the dealership twice. They said it was a software issue and to get a hold of Hyundai, the software that Hyundai said had to be installed and since then climate control has not worked they live in Arizona temperatures are very warm down here and that’s why I bought the Hyundai. This is my third one since 2021 purchased no issues with any other cars except this one nobody can seem to figure out a software update that will fix it and nobody will contact me so I’m very very disappointed with Hyundai support at this time this may be the last one. I will know if they cannot get this fixed, but nobody wants to seem to communicate to get it resolved. I’ve called several times. Keep being told someone to call me back within 5 to 7 business days haven’t heard from anybody almost a year since this issue occurred.

I have enjoyed driving this vehicle. It is fuel efficient, handles in town and freeway driving effortlessly. It has a comfortable interior and I enjoy the interior package for dash and steering wheel extras. A quality vehicle at a reasonable price.

Ok car but first year of the redesign not great

I was pleased with the car for the first couple months but small things keep going wrong and Hyundai refuses to admits things are wrong. My alignment and balancing were off from day one. I brought my car in to get check and was told it was fine. My tires are worn to the point of replacement not even two years in and I don’t have that many miles on the car. Similar issue with the transmission switching feeling rough. Was told there was no problem

I love my Sonata

I love my Sonata. This is the second one that I have leased. I had the 2021 and now the 2024. I hope to get the Sonata hybrid for my next lease in 2027. It's a great car with lots of safety features. It's a sharp looking, well performing car.
