Great SUV with one exception

My 2023 Santa Fe SEL Premium is really nice in every way exception for one thing. The brakes make a scaping sound for awhile every day. It's been checked repeatedly and the mechanics say its just the way it is. I probably won't buy another one after this because of the scraping sound when I apply the brakes every morning.

23 Santa Fe Calligrahy

Overall a great vehicle. Lots of safety features. Seats although leather are NOT as comfortable size wise as the seats in the 2019 Santa Fe. Middle console is a hindrence to reach the tray below and phone charging slot heats the phone but is very difficult to pull the phone out. Headlights on the vehicle are FANTASTIC

Love everything except the media screen

I love everything about this car except the screen on the center console that controls most of the media functions and car settings. My biggest complaint with it is that it is very laggy within the first 2 minutes of the car starting. When I push a button, it won't do the thing I pushed until about 10 seconds after I push it. This happens for every button push for the first 1 to 2 minutes after the car started. The other thing I dislike is that when listening to Radio or Bluetooth audio, the Artist and Title of the song is in really small font all the way to the right of the screen, yet the Station Name and Number is huge in the center of the screen. This is backwards, in my opinion. The artist and title are much more important and should be easily viewable. Everything else I love! The styling, the fit and finish, and the performance (especially in Sport mode with the turbo engine). I was very sad to see the body styling change so dramatically in 2024 and will never buy a Santa Fe with that body style.

Hi, I’m really not happy with the vehicle. It’s been having multiple issues—first the axle, and even after that was fixed, the AC is making a lot of noise. Now the horn has stopped working as well.

Terrible

Predatory tactics used to get me to buy this car or to get it as a loan and they will do nothing to help you in regards to taking the car back even though if it has created a huge burden in your life and this company has got awful and the dealership that I went to is the absolute worst.

Decent SUV - Some Warts

This is a decent SUV. Size is very good and it is comfortable to drive and to sit in for long stretches. No issues to report other than dealer problems when getting scheduled service. We want to love this vehicle, and it's close, but a couple of niggles drags it down. 1) Whoever designed the Audio/Nav system needs to be fired. The sound from a bunch of speakers is just okay but could be so much better. The system allows each "user" to save just 6 presets. Huh? YES, 6 PRESETS!! We save more than 6 just on local radio stations, let alone adding XM stations. What a joke!! 2) This is not a quiet SUV. Road noise is intrusive with factory tires. Under acceleration, the noise is disturbing. Our vehicle was nearly $50k MSRP. You would think that Hyundai would get a bit better insulation to alleviate, primarily, the road noise. 3) Not good fuel mileage at all for a 4 cylinder turbo. We get 22-23 in town and 26-27 on the highway, from a 4 cylinder!! Good grief, in todays world, Hyundai can't do better than that? We've owned v-6's that did better than this rig. Regarding service work. Went to the local dealer for scheduled service. Dealer did their inspection and checked off on multiple items indicating good, etc. Except thay did not check the air filters, both cabin and motor, because when we checked them later, they were really dirty and should have been changed. So now, what, am I supposed to cross-check everything to ensure they've done the work? Stand in the repair bay to verify that they performed the service? Dealer response was also tepid and not what I expected in any way.
