Reliable, yet quirky electronics

Great overall vehicle with all the bells and whistles. A few electronic features are a bit quirky though. Air conditioner mode is different every time we start the vehicle. The right side camera does not work, it's always green when blinker is on or in reverse. Vehicle also stayed "on" a few times after parking. Of course these things worked fine when took in for service. The seats are also large and wide, which is good for some people, but a bit uncomfortable if you are a smaller person.

After 5 never again

I've purchased 5 brand new Hyundais since 2017 and the last 2 have been plagued with problems. One had an a software update at the dealer that fried the wiring in the dash. The dealer had our vehicle for more than 3 months until they could figure it out. Our current Santa Fe had a dealer update and the vehicle wouldn't go faster than 15 mph and had to leave it at the dealer for 2 days. Now the vehicle will occasionally stay locked in a lower gear amd wont shift as the engine rpm's continue to climb. I will never buy another Hyundai because of all the various problems we've had.
