Good engine, bad electric system

This car drives well, is very economical to fuel, and consumes low gas. However, it came with an electrical fabric defect. Some lights from the dashboard mistakenly show issues with tire pressure and an open trunk. Also, I can’t turn the light inside the vehicle on, the key does not open the trunk, and the car does not beep after locking it up. It would be great if the company could cover the cost of this because my car only has 15k miles within 3 years, but I had to cover the cost for the repairs on a basically new brand car.

Very good little car with few adjustments would be perfect.

The vehicle has been very reliable and has amazing gas mileage. It has been reliable and has only had a few small issues that were promptly taken care of by Hyundai.

Amazing little car

I love my Accent, or more to the point, I love the 40+mpg I get with it. It is fun and zippy. Only complaint is have is it is low, so getting in and out might be difficult for bigger people.

Antenna missing

I wish I had never bought this car. Several months back my antenna was missing off my car. I took it to the dealership and was told I would have to pay $500 because that is not covered under warranty even though I googled it and see that a lot of people have had trouble with the antenna coming off. They blamed it and said it was my fault that I must’ve taken it through the car wash I did do a car wash in January 3 months before I took it in and I didn’t notice it was missing until three months later. I feel like $500 was a lot of money to pay

The Last In Line

Sadly, this is the last year Hyundai made the Accent. It is the most reliable car they have ever built. 50,800 miles in 2.5 years and the only thing that went bad was the cruise control switch on the steering wheel, which was covered under warranty. I wish Hyundai would bring the Accent back, I might have considered upgrading to a newer year.
