Lots to love, very few dislikes

I love the design mostly. I do not like how hard it is to get things from under the cup holder section. The look is great but the functionality is missing, you can't see anything in that storage area so you basically have to feel around for what you want, especially since there isn't any light there. Also, I am 5'4 and since I have to have the seat up closer than most people, my elbow sits on a hard part of the console, it would be nice if the edges were lined in a softer material. The seats are pretty hard and not as comfortable as some other vehicles I have sat in, on long drives the seat edge really becomes uncomfortable as it starts digging into your legs. I was also surprised that in 2023 this vehicle did not have wireless carplay or at least a software update to make it wireless by now. I also have issues with phone delays when using carplay due to complete software updates not installing correctly, the OTA is still showing 2023, although it says my software is updated. Love the power and the transmission as well as how the vehicle drives. I also love the warranty and safety features.

Disappointed compared to other Hyundai owned

I had a 2011 Sonata and loved it. When I needed a new car only planned on getting a Hyundai and wanted a smaller SUV. Bought the Santa Fe and have continuously disappointed and underwhelmed. I would 100% never recommend this car and next car my wife or I buy will not be a Hyundai or a Genesis

This vehicle has all the bells and tech whistles available in 2023. The seats are comfortable and the ride is smooth. Sport mode is sporty. Road noise is too loud. Otherwise a solid buy.

I love my car. It is a great design inside and out. My lease is up soon. Not so happy you changed the model to a pick up style boxy design. If the same car was available I would lease it again in 2026. I am forced to go to a different make and model. You no longer have what I like

2023 Santa Fe

I drive it mostly on long trips. When I drive it in town, I get frustrated with acceleration after driving a 6-cyl Sonata for many years. The fuel economy is not very different than with Sonata.
