Spacious vehicle

I love my Santa Fe! I love how spacious it is and how comfortable it is to drive. Only reason I didn’t give it a perfect score is that I’ve had issues with the electronics and had to have the screen replaced and had to have the engine harness replaced and it’s a brand new leased vehicle.

2024 Santa Fe Limited

Stylish and roomy vehicle loaded with amenities and a great warranty. This is the first year of production, hence multiple electronic glitches, recalls, and several rattles and squeaks at the 10,000 mile mark. Most have been resolved, but the recalls continue to come in.

Worst purchase of my life

Since purchasing this vehicle, there have been nothing but issues. Brakes and rotors needing replacement within the first 7500 miles. Fuel injector issues twice. Several recalls. Hyundai not accommodating for service to my vehicle.

A very good riding vehicle with some electronics issues.

The ride and handling of the Santa Fe is excellent. However, there are several electrical issues that are very irritating. First, there is the issue of the clock which always runs one hour ahead of the actual time. Even if one sets the clock to the correct time, it automatically moves one hour ahead of the actual time. We pointed this out to the Hyundai dealership from which we purchased the vehicle and were informed that Hyundai does not have a fix for this. This is ridiculous! Another issue is (probably when the software of the vehicle updates) that several times certain software programs have been turned on - e.g., limiting the speed of the vehicle to 25 mph or in that range. Eventually, it straightens itself out. Another time I backed the vehicle out of the garage and was attempting to drive away when the vehicle started jerking and making weird noises as if the transmission was slipping. I drove the vehicle around the block whereby it was continuing to function in this manner. I drove it back into the garage anticipating I would be taking it to the dealership the next morning to diagnose the problem. When I started the vehicle the next morning and backed it out of the garage and put it in drive, everything worked fine. It's possible this may have been a software issue.

All in one Package

We started our new car research in late January of 2024. We have specific requirements and researched over 40 different vehicles, plus a few with the hybrid option. We narrowed our research to a final 5. We went to different dealerships and sat in each of them and compared the research to the physical inspection. We did not take any test drives during these visits. We then narrowed our search to two, one being the Santa Fe. Bottom line is the Santa Fe meet all out requirements, plus.

Great but numerous issues

We love this car. It’s comfortable, drives well, it’s safe, and great in the snow. But we’ve had issues with the starter, the tire pressure sensor and electrical issues. Lights not working etc
