If I had to do it all over again, I would do it differently.

After purchasing the vehicle, software updates have affected how quickly the vehicle goes in to gear from park. Additionally, it seems like the vehicle shifts differently causing the vehicle to respond/accelerate differently than when purchased- feels less "peppy"... I can only assume this is to "fix" the transmission issue that emerged for this model. It feels like we've been "baited and switched" by Hyundai- we purchased an amazing vehicle based on how it performed at the time of purchase, only to have the performance changed/reduced soon after due to software updates. Also, the vehicle temporarily turns itself off when we stop to parallel park. In general, the "gas saving" auto shut off doesn't save a significant amount of gas, but is extremely dangerous and has even "disabled" the vehicle several times when we really needed to "take off/go". This is negligent on Hyundai's part and is going to get people killed. At the very least, the switch to turn this death trap "feature" off should not reset when the vehicle turns off / You shouldn't have to remember to switch this off every time you get in the vehicle. The horrible experience with the Hyundai dealership (Hyundai of Hickory Hollow, TN) we purchased the vehicle from has destroyed the positive perception we initially had of the Hyundai brand... we quasi-resolved some issues with the dealership but are still waiting for the "lost" mechanical keys the dealership promised but did not include at the time of purchase. It's been over a year and the last time I reached out to the dealership/salesperson, I never heard back. The Hyundai 100K/10yr warranty was a deciding factor in our purchase decision but with such a terrible dealership, the warranty now feels meaningless. (As in "good luck" working with the dealership/Hyundai if you end up having a warranty issue.") I cannot stress enough how much dealership experience influences perception of the Hyundai brand. I hope Hyundai takes its reviews seriously to read/comprehend this. Hyundai has a lot going for it in general but as of right now, I wish I would have gone a different route.

The two things that would make the vehicle better would be having captain seats for the second row passengers which would make it easier for using the third row and a steering that telescoped a little further making it more comfortable for the driver.

This is my 4th Hyundai! We have loved driving each and every one I love the space that I have. I love the sound and the radio features! It makes it safe for me to drive with the safety features that are installed ! Thank you!

This is a great vehicle, with great gas mileage.

I've owned this vehicle for one year with 25k miles now, and had to get a new transmission installed. Luckily it was under warranty, and the dealer took care of everything.

2024 Santa Fe

Santa Fe is spacious and fun to drive. Fuel efficiency on the highway is better than expected. Seats are comfortable for longer drives. Technology issues have been addressed through “recalls”. Exterior trim pieces have issues with clips being broken , however the dealership has replaced these pieces free of charge under warranty

Not your basic third row SUV

Looking to upgrade to a third row SUV but don’t want to drive a monster suburban or pay the price tag of one but still want to feel bougie? Then this is your vehicle. I love absolutely everything about my car from the exterior color (rockwood green) and shape to the pecan brown leather seats. I absolutely love the design and features of the dashboard and how comfy and spacious my second and third row passengers fit. I love all of the safety features and alerts The Bluelink app is a game changer. How did I live before climate start? However if you’re looking for a spacious trunk space, expect to give up the third row seats to utilize it. It’s like they thought of every detail right up until the trunk and then they ran out of time and just submitted the plans because they needed to meet the deadline. If they only extended the vehicle/trunk space by 2-3 inches without compromising the third row, the vehicle would be perfect.

Cheaply built. Have had it 1 year and been to the dealership 3 times for repairs. 2 for check engine light and 1 for a flat repair thay took over a week to get fixed.

Vehicle isn't bad but isn't good. Hyundai America needs to do better.

Hyundai could be a much better brand, they have the technology and design but fail in customer service and quality. I want to love the car but at this point hate it mostly because the dealerships and service provided. Thought about selling it just to be done with it. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Hyundai product.

Reasonable size SUV with excellent interior space

Like the spacious interior and easy access. Sometimes too “smart “ especially when trying to get into drive. Also surround alarm sounds with obstacle in front even though car is in reverse. Speed limit in neighborhood is 15 and engine seems hesitant at low speeds. Also get confusing messages from Hyundai and dealership concerning when maintenance is due
