Gary’s Santa Fe review

I have had 3 recalls and during recent vacation brake light keep coming on with warning “check your abs”. Took to dealer and showed pictures but said couldn’t fix unless light is on when I bring it in. Engine fan runs for 30 minutes after you turn car off. Just not right.

I wouldn't buy it again.

Quirky vehicle, back door won't unlock, mysterious power drains on the battery, terrible turbo lag...I'll be selling this one as soon as it's paid off.

SANTA FE XRT

Vehicle was on the lot for almost a year when I picked it up the lug nuts where rusted and trailer hitch screws where rusted talked to dealer and they said they could not do anything so I purchased lug nuts from the dealer almost two hundred dollars went back for a recall and the dealer installed lug nuts said nothing they can do about screws , the dealer replaced headlights all ready on a new car , the lag when taking off is horrible (transmission), sometimes when putting vehicle in reverse it will not move not consistent happened a few times already , during the winter cameras get blocked , talk to dealer and they said this vehicle is not made for a New York winter wife does not feel safe in winter driving , lol hard to believe this vehicle cost me a ton of money

Very happy with my Santa Fe

I’ve had my Santa Fe for 1 year 7mos. I love everything about it, except the fact you can’t wear sun glasses and have the cruise control on due to the safety camera not seeing your eyes

Get ride of the so called safety junk you put on the car.

Would trade it in for a car that doesn't have a coffee cup come up every 10 minutes telling me to take a brake on long trips. This coming up so often and shutting off the cruse control is a safety hazard, and someone is going to get killed when the coffee cup distracts them by taking their eyes off the road. How many people have take a hammer to the unit above the steering wheel? If they do, it is in frustration. All you need to do is reprogram the car so we can shut it off, just like the start stop program that knowledgeable people know it destroys engines. I think the restarting of the engine and the coffee cup should make the car eligible for the " LEMON LAW ".

53000 miles so far no major issues

I don't like the start n stop n you can't turn it off completely. Ever time u start the vehicle u have to turn the Auto start off.
