Lemon!!!!!

Bought a new Santa Fe Calligraphy. Had it about a month, only 1,100 miles. A message kept displaying check transmission oil immediately and get serviced. Took it twice they said oh no it's fine! My granddaughter and I were crossing over a highway and it didn't want to go. I had to floor the pedal or we would have been hit! Took it back a 3rd time and left it. Finally they said it was transmission. It needs to be replaced. The part is on back order!!!!! It's already been at the shop going on 2 weeks!!!! Shame on Hyundai!! Never again! I also put $30,000 down with zero % interest. Maybe that's why they gave me the crappy one off the lot!!!

The Car itself is a fun marvel to drive. My only 2 issues are not major but what I find could be improved. The shape of the remote key is awkward and could be improved. Secondly, the liftgate requires standing far back as it is quite long .

I bought the 2025 Santa Fe Calligraphy on February 2025. A little over a year later, I'm still loving it. And the service center has been great to work with for the free maintenance and recalls.

I drove it 3 weeks and got rid of it!

All my life I have driven sport sedans and tried the Santa Fe XRT. While the engine was quite "peppy" the rest of the vehicle was uninspiring! Road holding was awful, it wallowed around and felt as if it might tip over on steep curves. Aerodynamic were grim -- as shown by the way it was blown around by gusty winds (common in Idaho) and really poor gas mileage, especially when facing a headwind on the interstate. On the plus side it was nicer to be a little higher up and so there was reduced glare from other big vehicles at night -- though poor adjustment of the headlights caused glare to other drivers and the dealer said they were not adjustable :-( -- True or not it was not acceptable to me to put other drivers at risk through badly adjusted lights.

Car is great - Gets great gas milage. Looks great - Some quirky items. Sunroof has auto open but not auto close for the cover - Washer fluid still only comes out 1 side of the rear window and the wiper arc doesn't cover the entire rear window Love all the safety features - only car on the market that includes them all

Do not buy a Santos fe

Never get a Santa Fe with scorpion tires and expensive rims… do not buy APEC warranty ..they will screw you and decline claims..

Reliable Family Vehicle

The Santa Fe is a reliable and safe vehicle for our family which includes teenagers. There is plenty of room for 3-5 teens in the back seats. I appreciate the ac in the third row for people or groceries since we live in a hot climate. I wish the driver's seat position memory was standard and not an upgrade. It has lots of warning beeps if the car thinks you are too close to an object which is great for teaching my teen to drive but can be very annoying for an experienced driver. We use this vehicle for local driving and have driven cross country with it and it did exceptionally well. Plenty of trunk space for 4 suitcases with the third row up. I gave the build quality a 7 because the back pockets are plastic and broke off almost immediately.
