Car Breaking Down after 2 Months

Car has gone into limp mode twice while driving while being less than 3 months old. It gallops, won’t accelerate and after it being “fixed” the first time we had it for a week, drove it twice and it happened again.

I love everything about my Santa Fe. I previously had 2 Tucsons but upgraded to Santa Fe this time. The looks and comfort are amazing but I really love all the safety features.

2026 Santa Fe Calligraphy

One complaint I have is that at times when I am Turning, the car slows down dramatically. It’s almost as if it stalls when turning. Also- I wish I had the option of the doors automatically locking when I turn it off and walk away. The cool on the seats is not that strong.

Clark’s Review of 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe

Love the car. Haven’t explored on my own all the options. Didn’t realize I I had a self driving option which one of the techs pointed out. Not sure if I ever want to try it. Still have suspicions about self driving. Wish I had an option on my wheel to change channels on my radio. Don’t know if I do. Sometimes the rear automatic door does not work except if I use the key remote. Also, I did not negotiate well enough on the price which regret somewhat. One can be taken advantage of at these dealerships. Nevertheless less, I love the car.

All the latest but missing the usual

I bought the 2026 gas model. The emergency features are good. You can't lock the doors without a key? Really? I don't carry my phone 24/7 either. If you cross you arm over the wheel it complains it can't see you. Why does it have to see you? You can't switch profiles while driving so if I want to connect a different phone, I can't unless I stop and park.

Perfect for me!

First brand new vehicle I’ve ever purchased and it was worth it! Easy to drive, very comfortable, ample room and storage. There are probably others with better gas mileage out there but it was a huge step up from my previous vehicle, so I’m happy!
