Excessive engine noise

Excessive engine noise / oil leak / recalls. Many difficulties to schedule maintenance at any dealer because they have few dates and times available. Dealer makes it difficult to carry out complimentary maintenance for free.

Great Vehicle, Hyundai Service is Lacking

I love the car. However, dealing with Hyundai service departments has not been great. It's hard to get a convenient appointment that isn't several weeks out. The service department has, on occasion, held my vehicle for several days for relatively minor work. There is a creaking noise in the driver's seat that would normally be covered under warranty; however, Hyundai is refusing to address the problem.

It’s ok. Wouldn’t purchase it but was on for the lease knowing I don’t have to keep it.

Delay in gas pedal and sometimes surges when accelerating or just driving. And windshield will crack very easily. Have replaced it twice since I’ve had it. Would never buy it but was ok for a lease. Will upgrade next time

Decent Car, not so decent service

Navigation is really important and this car loses blue tooth connection constantly. Also, battery went dead multiple times (still under warranty) and the dealership could care less. Service dept. people were passing me off to others and eventually back to the original person who claims not to have been notified. Messages were then left by me to have management call me but to no avail. No one ever did.

Great until it isn't (which is too soon)

There is a lot to love about this car but it falls apart so quickly. You'd think with such a good warranty, they'd construct part better but no such luck. I have been driving this below the recommended amount and keeping up with the copious amounts of maintenance appointments they recommend but now I have to spend 3 months without AC in the Arizona desert because my dealership couldn't make an appointment until MONTHS in advance. That doesn't sound so bad until you realize that it is late October and it is still over 100 degrees on a daily basis. So here I am, driving around in a brand new car, without AC. It's pathetic.

Great vehicle but lacks some quality pieces...

Car has been reliable and steady but sadly promotes features that don't match the quality that I am used to or would have expected. Plastic grill plate that wasn't properly prepped for paint, same goes for rims and door handles... Just doesn't make the mark that I would have expected from the limited...

Do not buy!

The front of the car is poorly protected due to the gaps in the front bumper and hood design. Not covered under warranty. Did an online search and apparently this is a problem they tend to have. Hyundai should own up to this issue and perform some type of recall and cover the radiator damaged caused by its poor design. Will not be buying another Hyundai again.

Good enough

Good gas consumption, quiet, quick and modern. Complicated controls. Memory seat not working from factory and dealer mechanics not prepared to service the new car. Fragile feeling, too light and windshield too fragile (first stone in the first trip, cracked it)

almost perfect

1. Digital key doesn't work. Called Hyundai multiple times and still after a month after purchase no resolution. Vehicle clearly comes with "digital key" but when trying to enroll error "vehicle doesn't support digital key service" Talked to someone from Hyundai and was told issue needs to be escalated to engineering, that was two weeks ago. I keep updating my case online with screenshots of error i get and nothing. 2. loose wire or something in the roof over passenger side and very annoying while driving. I can hear it hitting metal all the time. I expected more from Hyundai

Lost in Technology

Santa Fe seems to be a good choice for me. I like the way the vehicle handles. Safety features are great. I am way behind the technology curve and have frustrated myself while trying to bridge the gap.

Great vehicle performance. Tech may need to be updated

Great SUV. Highway mileage in the upper 30s. But the for no reason sometimes the radio goes silent when using Android Auto or Apple Car Pay. Also, the engine IGS system is inconsistent. Except for that, I'm very happy with the Santa Fe.

good reliable car

The car is very reliable and handles great. I had a huge snowstorm here and the vehicle did great in the snow. I have a lot of hills where I live, so when I had to go down a big snowy hill, I like the fact the vehicle came with a hill descent feature which controls the vehicle going down a hill slowly and safely. definitely the best feature of the vehicle and a great safety feature. I love this car. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of five is the fact that the base engine can be a little underwhelming and I wish it came with more horsepower. overall I am a satisfied Santa fe owner.

Good value

This is a solid choice for a two row mid-size SUV. You get a lot of extras for the money spent. Media and climate controls are within easy reach. The Sport mode is a nice diversion and makes the car feel less like an SUV.

wind noise is annoying - whistles while driving - was that way upon delivery - sp acted like it was no big deal - offered service - asked for a new trade - they said no - i paid $40K for a brand new car - not one that required service immediately - would be nice to have the side view mirrors also tint at night time - return the ability to change navigation - fix the radio stations to stay on your choice of audible pleasure - ie. changing stations from xm to all stations in xm only instead of having it to automatically switch to am or fm

2021 Santa Fe review

I have only had the vehicle for 3 weeks and have 500 miles on it. Still getting to know the vehicle. I have been pleased with the performance and drive comfort. Got over 29 miles to the gallon on one short 15 mile trip on the highway.

Nice SUV ?

Overall good vehicle. I like the features and exterior of my vehicle as well. However, the air conditioning blows cool air when it’s supposed to be on heat. My breaks have been making noises since the 2nd week of my purchase.

This is a nice car but it’s the Santa fe sport not the Santa Fe in body the Santa fe we’re bigger came in 6 cylinder and came captain chairs the new Santa fe is small and 4 cylinder only and has no captain chairs. If you want bigger must buy the palisades
