Good but not great

This is our 4th Santa Fe and has not met all expectations. Good but not good enough. Lower fuel economy than listed. No spare, so don't take it off traveled roads. Not a fan of the push button gear selector. However, it does accelerate nicely for an SUV, looks very nice and has roomy and comfortable interior. The Calligraphy version looks like and has features like a luxury vehicle.

Tail lights

I'd prefer amber tail lights and higher up instead of in the bumper. But hey, I don't have to see them. Best part is the trunk space. Plenty of space for large dogs with compartments underneath for storage. We got the Hampton Grey color and it hides dirt well.

Lots of features for the money, compared to others in the same class

Some quality issues that tarnish my first impressions on a $44,100 vehicle. Paint blemish the size of 2"x3" below the rear driver side door handle, small chip in a prominent area of the dashboard always in view, interior panel not snapped into place next to the rear window, and a large orange rubber band mangled on the steering column inside the fuse compartment. But that aside, this top tier Santa Fe does come packed with features other vehicles in the same class just didn't have, such as the 2021 Kia Sorento SX Prestige , 2021 Acura RDX A-Spec or 2021 Toyota Highlander Limited. For the money, it was the way to go, but I really could have done without these very noticeable quality issues that are kind of blaring on a vehicle of this price range and being the top trim level. Not to mention NO SPARE TIRE on the top trim level, again, a $44,100 vehicle. It speaks a little of what's going on in the factory in Alabama.

Very nice vehicle

I've had this vehicle for about a month and so far, so good. The interior room is great along with styling and features. It's a great value compared to other brands. And my dealer experience was very good.

A nice vehicle. Good design ( both interior and exterior ). Good power with turbo Quiet on the road. And decent mileage. Leading edge of driver’s seat should be able to go lower. Bring back some sort of shift lever.

2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Compared VS 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport

I am several months into a new Hyundai purchase and yet under 400 miles and I miss my 2015 Santa Fe Sport ... why oh why did Hyundai discontinue the “Sport” model? I “like” my new ride but I don’t love it.

Wonderful Car with No Spare Tire

I don’t understand the lack of spare tire at all. Doesn’t seem right, honestly. I tend to drive over the speed limit. I’ll have to see if driving the speed limit really makes the difference!! I always seem to be in a hurry … therefore slightly over the speed limit when on the highway.

don't know what to say except that my wife and I both love our Hyundai's and would be even more satisfied if we were able to get our oil changes that we were promised my next Hyundai was going to be the G70' but if i cant get the complementary maintenance when needed its definitely not going to happen

2021 Santa Fe

So far like the 2021 Santa Fe except for the 4 cylinder engine. Although I have the turbo, wish I could have got it with a 6 cylinder. Not to keen on the “push button” transmission, but getting used to it. The styling and overall appearance of the vehicle is nice.

Craftsmanship is very good, however the plastic molding of the front seat floor brackets could cause cuts and scrapes to our hands when moving the seats into place; removal of the approaching vehicle in the side view mirrors is removed in the 2021 vehicle which is different from my 2019 SE

Great vehicle but no spare tire & no place to put one.

Love the Santa Fe overall! Great cameras to help with backing up and lane changes. Great camera to see entire vehicle and space around it. Very concerned about there being no spare tire and no place to put one.

Daytime driving is fine. Nighttime driving not so great. Front headlights do not illuminate as much range as they should. There is a low spot particularly in the middle that does not reach very high on the road, requiring high beams on many occasions to see clearly.

Great outside the Gate

Overall a great experience with this vehicle, some quirks need to be hammered out, good second vehicle. .!!! Value one getting for the amount of purchased is okay. Only time will tell if it holds it resale and reliability.

Hyundai Santa Fe Caligraphy

The 2.5 turbo with the 8 speed transmission is the way to go with this car if you want performance. The ride is superb an the interior noise level is very quiet. Interior seating space is excellent. If you are considering the Audi or Lexus, test driving the Santa Fe Caligraphy is well worth your time.
