Satsfied/Not Satisfied

Overall concept of car is amazing. It has all the bells and whistles you want in a vehicle but the construction and performance of the car is mediocre at best. If you want the good stuff you are gonna have to pay the price and $50,000 isn't it.

Scheduled service

I discover after leaving the service facility the wiper fluid was not filled and remained empty. The clock was not reset per my instructions and at the last moment I noticed and I had the individual that delivered my Sante Fe to me post service correct the oversight. The following day the a/c began making a roaring noise after tuning it on. It a loud noise and very annoying. The cabin filter was replaced. I don’t know if this had anything to do with the fan. It continues to make the annoying noise.

Nothing out of the ordinary

The Santa Fe has the usual navigation, driver assistance features, CarPlay, etc. the info system screen in center of dash is very difficult to consistently activate an icon on. Some times you have to touch it 3 or more times to hit it just right To activate it. This is dangerous when driving. The HVAC ventilation layout does not evenly cool the vehicle and is difficult to aim directionally to the driver. It has NO SPARE tire and only comes with a can of generic “fix-a-flat” and an air pump to run thru the ac plug in the vehicle. Gas mileage is meager at best around 20-22 in town and maybe 24 on highway. The Calligraphy option is incredibly overpriced!!!! Wow, I could almost have gotten a BMW for a few dollars more. Not impressed with Hyundai, the extended warranty and policies they offer, or the Edmond, Oklahoma Hyundai dealership. The WORST car purchase I’ve experienced In my 50 years of buying and driving cars. They did not meet their end of our deal terms and would not take the vehicle back 2 days later when I was fed up with their lack of action and asked to return car. They declined my request. Then didn’t return my phone calls, the salesman or the manager.
