Ok

Too many recalls, hate car turns off unless you push button every time you get in car. Have to dig keys out bc key fob does not work even though the service says it does. Car lags to go at lights etc. rear seat belts do not work well with booster seats. Have to hook them every time even for 5-6 years old. Just not convenient to get out of car to get children in booster seats!!

Too many recalls!!!!

Every time I turn around, there's a recall for the vehicle. Too time consuming and it dampens my spirit for this $52k vehicle I spent my hard earned money on.

2 Years In

Im almost 2 years into ownership, things that need to be improved, 1) there are no Recovery Tow hooks at all on the XRT but the New Palisades have front and rear so do the Santa Cruz. 2) include a hitch factory with each Trim including and above XRT ( we have all the tow features but no factory hitch) 3) make the XRT a more offroad capable vehicle, more ground clearance. Its an XRT for a reason correct? I like the design of the vehicle, the digital dash and infotainment screen. The climate controls being separated is a huge plus as I dont like using digital infotainment screen adjustments for temperature control. Overall the vehicle is a great highway and city vehicle. Great gas mileage for a modern day 3rd row SUV averaging 24mpg. Great paint selections and trim levels, price is overall fair. But resale value doesnt hold as strong as its competition.

Nice looking car, trash overtime

I was in love with my car starting off, but slowly but surely started to regret my purchase. The vehicle starting randomly glitching. The screen inside my car would “sometimes” connect. My arm rest compartment randomly detached. & when I called Hyundai to inform them of the issues I was having, & that it’s possible my car could be a lemon, they denied repurchasing my vehicle and now I’m stuck with it. Biggest vehicle purchase regret I’ve ever done.

Poor quality control

After 6months new transmission after 6 months had to replace for defective tires at my expense. 112 Hyundai not at all helpful. Just about every month a recall letter sent.

Too many recalls/poor gas mileage

The car rides great, has more advanced features than anything else in its class, and is extraordinarily roomy. Get-up-and-go is just ok, especially considering the poor gas mileage (approx 20-21 mpg). Steering is responsive and holds the road well. Thankfully it takes regular gas. Most frustrating is the number of recalls that we've received. If we were closer to a dealer, it might not be as annoying; however, we don't.
