Great car review

The car has just about everything you could ask for. There are only two items that need improvement. 1) the vehicle sometimes forgets some settings like the preset seatings for the driver or requires a phone to be repaired to enable car play. 2. The phone charging stations heats up the phone to an uncomfortable level while charging

Nice care, concerns

It is already making a noise after 7 months, and the dealership was less than helpful. Charged me a diagnostic, and it is still making the noise. Very disappointed this early in ownership. Had to replace the tires, but they weren't in stock. I appreciate that they look good, but I had to wait 5 days. I would rather have stock tires. The calligraphy interior is very modern. I love the display and the ability to change lighting. Front vent already has a paint chip due to the design. Just not built to handle the road.

Comfortable, quiet with good performance

Great looking car with a lot of technology enhancements in the Calligraphy series. Other than a few early technical issues in the HUD, fingerprint reader and multimedia screens it has been very reliable. The 3 previous items were all replaced under warranty with reasonable turnaround times. The major downside is the screens and HUD stopped working in the middle of a cross country road trip. Upsetting at the time, but we got over it. When the multi function screens stopped working there was no speedometer, Tachometer, or fuel gage and no work around other than the speed on our phone GPS, which could not be displayed. It is comfortable and has good performance. It’s been several months since the displays were replaced and there have been no further issues.

Great mom car

Pros: easy to drive, intuitive technology, max leg room, easy folding seats, tons of space overall without feeling like you’re driving a massive vehicle. Cons: Middle row has minimal air vents and no controls over airflow or temp. Rear air vents don’t sync with front air vents so you have to toggle to the back controls to manually turn them up or down.

Sante Fe

Vehicle has great style with notable features. The only thing that is that is concerting is the gear shift on the steering wheel column. It’s to close to the windshield wiper controls. Several times, I almost shifted gears while driving while I was adjusting the wipers.

Better than average but not great

I like the tech and the feel. It’s small and the truck lacks space when 3rd row is up. The “stick shift” is terrible. The swivel is horrific and inconvenient. No place to put sunglasses.

Trouble engine and transmission response.

The 2.5 turbo engine is the worse engine I have ever owned. The slow response the dead spots when trying to take off. Are dangerously and need to be addressed by Hyundai.

Great for road trips

We love just about everything with the Santa Fe. Great gas mileage and comfortable. We travel a lot between Indiana and Colorado. Spend a lot of time in the winter months out west in Arizona and New Mexico. The only thing I would suggest is to add tactical buttons for heating and cooling. The touchscreen requires looking away from the road.
