Great vehicle with a few tiny things

We absolutely love our Santa Fe. So much we went and got another. However. There are two things we dislike. The facial monitoring stupid was is ridiculous. If you wear your and glasses it can’t see your eyes and it shuts down your cruise control. If it’s a sunny day and noonish, the sun beats in the windshield and you can’t see the touch controls for the climate. Other than that, it’s looks good, rides great, impressive mpg and lots of room!

Love the car, hate the issues

The car is fantastic but had to deal with a warranty issue regarding the brakes. Issues started by third oil change and couldn’t get it resolved by the dealer. Talked to corporate warranty and they helped get the issue resolved although it took the dealership 3 times to get them working right. They tried shortcuts that didn’t work.

2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited

I have experienced an ongoing problem when the engine gets too hot. 1st of all the front camera has a glitch. The warning lights appear on the dash. These are as follows, coffee break, collision, and something else, I am yet to figure out.. I feel like I bought a lemon. I live in Lake Havasu City, Arizona , and when the temperature goes above 110° the car starts to choke out as though there is something wrong with a fuel feature. I can also smell a strong odor of gas throughout the inside of the Cabin. I have had problems with the AC not cooling down the car as it should. I Have taken this car to 2 different Hyundai dealerships.One that kept it for 3 days, the other dealthership..I had to stay overnight and pay for a motel so they could try to diagnose the issue. Neither dealership could replicate the problem. I am disappointed , that I am having to deal with these issues with no resolve. I do not even want this vehicle anymore. Sad to say. I feel like I am paying off a vehicle that is not safe to have my family in. I have a feeling one of these days I will break down with my kid and dogs in over 100° temps.

Safe, very good mileage and a pleasure to drive

Safe and excellent family transportation with adequate room for guests and luggage. One shouldn't take the SUV designation too seriously though ground clearance is above average it is adequate for rough road not off road.

Almost Perfect

Took in for recall of rear camera. Rear camera functions worse than when I brought it in for service. Gas mileage is less than epa sticker rating. Other than those 2 issues the car is great.

Great economy and space

I have been incredibly pleased with the MPG my 2025 Santa Fe has attained. On a recent long trip from Boston to Indianapolis I averaged over 31 MPG which includes around town driving in Indianapolis along with the highway driving in between. The car is also very comfortable and much quieter than I'd anticipated. Recently I was driving a friend on a 2 hour drive and he commented that the Santa Fe was quieter than his BMW X5 of the same vintage.

Love the car- but…

While I love the car itself, I don’t quite trust it; it seems to have some electrical issues which shorts out the dashboard briefly and on one occasion shut the car down completely while at a stop light

Some annoying things

It is annoying waiting 1 minute for the car to "boot up". It is annoying having to turn off rear warning (and braking) each time I turn on the vehicle while my back is on the rack. There should be a towing option that you can select and have it remain selected. The left phone charger does not charge, but just overheats my phone. The right charger works fine.

Worst car I have ever owned.

After five trip to the dealer for the same electrical problem and leaving the car at the dealer for 37 days in 4 months, I applied to Hyundai Motor America to have my car declared a lemon. They informed me I didn't qualify in New York State. Even the service adviser at the dealership new it was a lemon. When I hired an attorney to apply to HMA, in two weeks,. they admitted my car qualified as a lemon. So at the cost of the attorney ,$4950. less $1750 HMA reimbursed me, I was paid for the full amount the car cost me. Frankly, I wouldn't wish what I went through over the last eight months on anyone.

Ask for a discount of $1000 at least

Be aware that these vehicles come with tires that will be worn out before you hit 20,000 miles. Hyundai is claiming they put soft tires on these cars to give a better test drive experience. When I went for my first complementary oil change tire rotation, I was given the news that I’m going to need for new tires before I even hit the 20,000 mark.

Im throughly enjoying my Santa Fe.

The Front wheel drive SEL has a lot of torque. This can be a problem when entering traffic quickly, in a turn. The steering can get away from you.
