Awesome vehicle

This is my first car. I've had this SUV for over 8 yrs and its still a great blessing to have. It was a showroom car and at first I didn't want it because of its weird green color but I got a good deal and it grew on me lol. The only problems I've had were all minor wear & tear. Its an old car but runs like a young car. No major repairs or replacements have been needed yet as I drive it carefully, defensively and seldomly. Even when there were some recalls on this model, mine never displayed any trouble, but I went ahead and had the issues fixed. The newer Santa Fes may have more features and improvements, but tend to have more reliability/design problems compared to pre-2010 models. I love this car and its a near perfect investment so far.

My favorite vehicle!

The Santa Fe has been my favorite vehicle of all the ones I've owned! I've never owned a car this long! Over 9 years! It's comfortable, functional, dependable and extremely affordable to maintain! its responsive and great size. I can carry my grandchildren, haul runs from Home Depot, work from and travel nicely in my Hyundai! I have the peace of mind of one of the longest warranties available.

I've had my SantaFe since 2008. Very few problems over the years. I do wish it had better gas mileage but for the amount of years I've had my car, I'm happy with how it's performed.

I love this vehicle. It's reliable, comfortable and is holding up just fine with 90K miles. I want another (Sport) but this vehicle is still solid!

Robust practical and still not outdated looking in 2017

I have been beating up my 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe limited for 4 years, I'm the second owner, bought it with 73k and it's at 120k now still going strong. I work construction so my rear seats are almost always folded down and the back is usually packed with tools and equipment. Buffalo ny winters are often perilous for driving, yet I have always been able to count on the awd SUV to get me safely to and from work for years, my interior is a bit torn up at this point, the leather is not as good as it was in my 05 limited Santa Fe, and I have occasional fuel sensor issues like many other people with 07-2012 Santa Fe, I'm surprised there hasn't been a recall on that. Still no rust on my vehicle despite the heavy salt on the roads every winter. Roof rack is great for hauling my ladders and kayaks. I think I need a pickup truck now but my Santa Fe has been great during my growth as a contractor. I only drive using the + and - electronic shifting feature to get the best fuel economy or acceleration depending on my road situation. That feature also makes driving on slippery roads much safer because I downshift to slow down instead of slamming the brakes, I rarely ever slide out unless I'm doing it on purpose in a parking lot. More horsepower would be nice. My biggest problem with this vehicle is that it has depreciated faster than I could pay it off. And also the cd changer gets jammed every once in a while and I'm sick of taking it apart to get the cds out so I just live with not being able to use the CD player anymore.

Smooth riding and reliable

I purchased my Santa Fe new in 2008. It has been a great vehicle. Reliable, smooth riding and comfortable. Plus, the AWD works well in snow, good traction and control, even through a few feet of snow. Hitting all the regular scheduled maintenance, I now have over 180,000 miles. Great value on this car.

2008 Hyundai Santa Fe

We are very happy with this car. It has plenty of room for our family of 5, plenty of trunk space, and performs really well all the time. Nice looking and modern design. So far very impressed with Hyundai and have no complaints.

Safest vehicle you'll ever own

I've had my Hyundai Santa Fe since 2008. I have done virtually nothing to it other than put oil and gas in it and replace a few minor wear parts. It is absolutely Second To None on snow and ice. I would drive nothing else period I had to commute 2 hours a day everyday for over 3 years multiple cars in a ditch all over and I was barely slowing down for conditions because this car was so stable. It starts in all weather and goes and goes and goes. I drove and owned the Hyundai Tucson which was a piece of junk and I wouldn't waste my time with one. Is Santa Fe on the other hand is completely different. I have the V6 and would not recommend anything less. The only negative thing about the Santa Fe is that it eats tires for lunch when you are driving long distances. I will always be a huge fan this car has saved my life on multiple occasions

Excellent Value!

I have owned two Hyundai Santa Fe's. Both lasted for more than 8 years, and I still have one of them! They are an exceptional value! The vehicle is very well-built. I've never had any major issues, and after 8 years, and 250,000 miles, the AC still blows ice cold, and have never had to put a shot of freon in it, ever! I, recently bought a Sonata 2017 Sport edition, and love that one, as well! I highly recommend Hyundai vehicles to anyone that I know is in the market for a new car!
