2024' Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy Review

Overall Experience and Impressions of my Hyundai Santa Fe have been very good for the most part. The Vehicle is well-rounded inside and out with a generous warranty package for peace of mind. I chose to purchase the vehicle in early 2025' because it fit my need for an SUV that provided practicality as well as seating capacity. My trim choice provided the Luxury elements that I was also seeking in a SUV without the mainstream badge. The Santa Fe offered me this with a smooth ride quality, good sound system, Interior fit/finish and great Technology/Safety features. However, no vehicle is perfect and I have experienced some glitches with the instrumentation panel, steering column as well as having to address some recalls. In addition, the vehicle frame tends to rattle with Road/Wind noise intrusive at Highway Speeds and/or going over larger bumps in the road. Nonetheless, the Dealership was excellent in addressing any issue/concerns that I had with the vehicle exercising my warranty when necessary as well as completing the needed services regarding the recalls.

Shifter

Not that crazy about where the shifter is to put the car in drive and reverse it needs to be relocated also it needs to go from reverse to drive a little faster. The computer system is a little sluggish.

Best car I will never buy again.

We call this car "Karen" because it is so nosy. Rides Lincoln smooth but tells me to "keep my eyes on the road" and asks me if I "need a break". Can't lock the doors when they are open - that's dangerous. Sometimes it cuts the speed I am driving for no reason - also dangerous if on a busy road. Too bad. Fit and finish are excellent. Just too nosy.

Not a bad vehicle

interior is comfortable and roomy for the back passengers. One issue is the 3rd row seating - it is difficult for people to get into this third row especially when the 2nd row seats are not pushed forward. Would recommend an easier method for moving the 2 nd row seats back and forth. great gas mileage and exterior is nicely designed. electronic hatch opening and closing is such a benefit. I have been a Hyundai customer for over 23 years and will continue to purchase this brand. Can't beat the warranty!

So far-great “affordable”vehicle for the price.!

For a brand new vehicle, I felt like this was one of the only options that I could afford to purchase for the needs that I had. It’s hard to find a mid size suv that has so many specs for less than $45k. The warranty of 10 years -100kmiles is just an added bonus that helped seal the deal for me.

VERY Happy With My Santa Fe

We have had 0 issues with the vehicle other than factory recalls which have always been taken care of immediately at the dealership. As a repeat Hyundai owner, I am once again very happy with the Santa Fe. Regular service, friendly staff at the HB dealership, reliable transportation, decent gas mileage, the overall roomy interior with space for 7 and it really is a gorgeous vehicle.

Could be perfect but

Overall the car could be one of my favorite cars if certain upgrades to the engine, powertrain, transmission are made. The low pro tires are horrible on pothole filled streets, consider going with a more rugged tire

Mediocre

Not bad overall, but the controls are inconsistent. Saved profile settings for mirrors and seat position do not do what they are supposed to sometimes. Multiple setting saves and adjustments, but seems to have trouble remembering the settings. Very frustrating. Also, the number of times we have had it in the shop for recalls is impressive.

My fifth Santa Fe and love them

This is the fifth Santa Fe I’ve owned and loved them all. The 2024 has a great design change and super comfortable inside. Being a tall person (6’3”), the seats and interiors fit me well. I’ve had no mechanical problems and so happy the drivetrain warranty is for 100k miles so should get a long life out of it. Love the vehicle.

Great SUV for the money

This vehicle has been trouble from mile 27 when it fist glitches and said it was in drive and wouldn't let me shift into drive when I just backed out into the roadway in front of my house
