I feel this car should have a standard driver power seat so it can be comfortable to driver. The front cup holders are to far back on console and should a light strips on center console to dark there

A real pleasure to drive around, especially on road trips.

This is our first vehicle loaded with modern technology. We take full advantage of the GPS mapping and alerts. We also love the audio hook up with our Spotify service. The car is good looking, very comfortable to drive, and has a good road feel. I'm surprised at the power/acceleration from that little turbocharged powerplant. The cargo space is excellent for a mid-size SUV, and the multiple rear seat configurations are very useful for travel. On the down side, some of the "automatic" features can be annoying. I really don't like the fact that side-to-side lane assistance kicks in every time you initiate cruise control. I feel like I'm often fighting my natural driving tendencies for following and passing. I also find myself getting "caught" by cruise control as I get ready to pass another vehicle. As I get ready to accelerate and pass, the system will automatically slow me down, uncomfortably, which I feel is even a little dangerous, while passing. I really dislike the "coffee cup & ding" driver alertness feature. If I could, I'd shut that off permanently, but I haven't found a way to do that! We have a lot to learn about the many techy features. I feel like we've just scratched the surface. The other bothersome negative, although not a biggie, is that we're averaging 25-26 mpg on Interstate road trips. I thought we'd be closer to 30mpg. and I'm NOT a heavy-footed driver. But, Overall, we're very pleased with our purchase.

Don’t Trust Vehicle or Dealer

After several recalls, plus an increasingly sketchy transmission, plus obvious scam on changing oil so company can try to force customers to only use dealership (at an outrageous $275 for incompetent installation and two to three hours wait), we're done with this ridiculous SUV. Seems comfortable and nice, but the devil is in the details.

New build=lots of flaws

Leased this vehicle brand new, and it has pretty much been problems from the beginning. Check engine light came on 3 months in. My dealership wanted me to drop the car off for a week with no loaner. Had to call corporate to get a rental. My car was gone for almost 2 months waiting on a part. My check engine light has been one three times in the past year. Run from this car. Get a mazda.

A nice family vehicle for the price

The vehicle has been reliable and a perfect size for what we need as a small family. Some parts have broken quite early and the auto service at the dealership has been subpar, which decreases the ownership value a little.

Maximum space and most comfortable ride

This is my 5th Santa Fe and it continues to deliver the most bang for the buck. Spacious, comfortable for long drives and lots of safety features. You can’t get a better all around deal than this from Hyundai.
